Captain Jack comes a cropper our driving with Fifth Gear
It appears – according to News of the World – that Barrowman got a little enthusiastic and came a cropper when his ambition exceeded his skill. Apparently John was driving the WRC Subaru when he lost control, slid down a verge and flipped the car four times. Not a small accident and, unlike Captain Jack Harkness, we’re pretty sure John’s not immortal!
Aston Martin One-77 WILL Show at Geneva today

Autoblog are reporting this morning that our news last week that we’d seen the real Aston Martin One-77, and therefore concluded it was going to show at Geneva, are right. The Aston Martin One-77 is going to be previewed later today at the Motor Show in Geneva. It features a highly tuned (by Cosworth) version of Aston Martin’s Ford derived 6,0 litre V12, which has been enlarged to 7.3 litres.

It’s a bit hard to call the Subara Impreza the ‘new’ Impreza when it’s already three years since it was revealed and more than two years since it went on sale in Japan and the US. But the latest Subaru Impreza is new for the UK as Subaru has decided the Yen has weakened enough since the Impreza’s launch to make it a viable option to import it. Even so, it is a bit of a Hobson’s choice for buyers with just the Impreza Hatch – not the saloon – on offer and only in a single trim level and with a single engine option – the 1.6 litre petrol Boxer engine.
